CWA Timing Update – April 16th, 2025
Greetings!
As we move into the peak summer season, CWA Management is committed to ensuring your
applications will arrive at the IRS in a timely manner.
We anticipate the IRS will have fewer employees soon.
Yet we do not anticipate the volume of CWA applications to decrease at the same time.
That means we must get applications into the IRS earlier than in the past.
Current IRS policy requires the application be submitted 45 days prior to the first show you want
included.
The IRS is experiencing some communication difficulties, and we cannot allow that to impact your
clients.
Additionally, many IRS employees are using vacation time, which can cause timing issues.
Beginning Monday, April 28, we will be sending in applications on day 50.
Applications sent less than 50 days prior to the first show may not be accepted or processed in a
timely manner by the IRS.
